System of a Clown

My mom just emailed me to tell me that the lunatic who lives across the street from my grandmother - and who we recently learned has warrants for his arrest in multiple states - was supposed to be arrested this morning, and has barricaded himself inside his house with his son and his common-law wife.  There is now SWAT team and a squadron of cop cars and ambulances there, and the entire road is blocked off.

This is no normal standoff - this dude has enough guns to have his own militia, and he’s dangerously insane.  He has routinely opened fire on my grandmother’s yard because he “saw deer” or other animals there, and I guess when you’re batshit crazy, that’s all the excuse you need to shoot off small arms in a relatively well-populated rural area within 100 yards from a golf course and less than two miles from a brand new housing development.  One day, he even fired a shot through he bedroom window - thankfully nobody was in there at the time.

I hope they lock this nasty, inbred fuckbag away for a long time.  Hopefully nobody has to die for that to become a reality, but frankly, I wouldn’t be surprised if this ends badly.  Thankfully, the cops had anticipated trouble and relocated my grandma to a safe place.
